First of all, I would like to thank you for your interest in my Voucher Service Pro for UniFi. This project is a fully modernized and completely reworked solution, based on my original idea and first release from early 2018. At that time, it was published on GitHub as UniFi Voucher System v2 – Touchscreen with Brother printer.
The idea originated while I was responsible for providing full Wi-Fi coverage at a campsite. The hotspot manager included with the UniFi Controller proved to be cumbersome, especially when vouchers had to be created individually. My goal was to build a simple all-in-one solution that allows vouchers to be printed easily while automatically provisioning the required access data in the UniFi Controller, enabling guests to join the network quickly and effortlessly.
A major advantage of this system becomes apparent when working with external staff. Any employee can generate and print a voucher for guests with a single click, without needing to log into the UniFi Controller or interact with its complex management interface at all.
